Yes it is - see Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support
What is the problem? What exactly happens?
LN
Yes, the camera is supported in OS X 10.11. or newer.
See the list: Digital camera RAW formats supported by OS X El Capitan - Apple Support
What happens, when you try to edit?
Does Photos show the RAW files as unsupported?
Can Panasonic's Silkypix open the RAW files?
I can see the miniature of the photos but when I double-click on any of them
I got a big triangle with an admiration sign on it. Nothing else
Oh yes, the Sylkpix is able to open them correctly!!
Exactly how did you import them? Have you done any clean up on your system or run any cleaning software on it?
Do you have a manager library (the Photos preference to copy imported items is checked - the default) or a referenced library (you unchecked this option)

The RAW originals may be missing from the library. Can you export them with as original files? Select a few of your RAW images and use "File > Export > Export original files" . DO you get an error message?
Photos imported them from the picture card after inserting
it with an USB card reader to the Mac. I got the MacBookPro
last week, and I have not needed to do nothing like cleaning
or the like. I just tell the computer to get most of my files and
folders from the Mac mini I was using before. Thanks anyway!!
Thanks Léonie, I will get sure that Raw originals are the ones the app imported,
but in the card there were only raws, no jpegs at all!
I did the export original of a picture and yes,
Photos had the 23.6MB .rw2 original!
The triangle with the exclamation mark can mean two different thing -
Trying to export will test if the problem is 1. or 2. If you cannot export the originals, Photos cannot find your images.
That is what I supposed, the format is supported but only
to see them but no edition is really possible, when information
is asked about any picture, it appears correctly the camera,
the date, that the format is raw, but the size it gives is wrong.
But I still do not know, if you can export a photos from Photos using "File > Export > Export original files" . Do you get an error message or not?
We really need to know if the RAW files are in your Photos library or have been removed somehow.
Yes, indeed. I did the export that way and it worked!
I have cleaned all the pictures from Photos and repeat
the import just in case I had done it with a previous
version of the app. But again, it shows ok the miniature,
but get the triangle with admiration after double-click on
any of them.
Try if reinstalling the last RAW support will help.
Download the installer from the support page, not the AppStore: https://support.apple.com/kb/DL1874?viewlocale=en_US&locale=en_US
Then try again.
If that does not help, reinstall the System. Install by booting into recovery in top of the current system. See: OS X: About OS X Recovery
Thank you Léonie, I have downloaded the package,
installed it and re-opened Photos, everything still the same!!
I will try the recovery later, Thanks again
