Q: Why are my photos grayed out in my camera roll?

I took a bunch of photos yesterday and now a good portion of them are grayed out in my camera roll. However there are some in the middle and before and after that look fine. I updated my phone just now and even tried restoring the photo stream in iPhoto on my mac. And when I open iPhoto and choose to import photos from my phone it shows all the photos correctly in the tiny thumbnails! But then when I try to import them to my mac they show up gray again in iPhoto. I don't know what to do. Seems like some weird bug. Does anyone have a solution?

If by "brayed out" you mean the photos are in black and white, you likely accidentally applied a B&W filter to them. On the iPhone it's the icon with three overlapping circles.

Filters can be undone. On the phone, tap on that icon. In Photos or iPhoto on your computer, select Revert to Original from the menu.
