Q: Problem with iBooks file made with IBA

Hi,

I made two e-books with IBA and I exported them like as iBooks files. When I try to open them with double click, iBooks doesn't work: I have to open iBooks and choose File->add to library. In this way my books appear...but after some minutes, they disappear again. When I try to open again the files, a window says that the books are already in the library and ask me if I want to replace them...but they aren't there.

How can I solve?

MacBook Air, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2)

I would open the books again in iBooks Author and from the File menu select Reset for iBooks Store... It is possible your iBooks have somehow obtained an ID that is the same as an existing iBook. This CAN happen if you create an iBook by saving an existing book using another name. iBooks should ONLY be created from templates to avoid this problem.

Thanks for answer. I made the ebooks "ex novo" from IBA template, so, they are original and I didn't posted on Ibook store: they are the final products of a school project.

It Maybe an iBooks for Mac problem: if I open both the files in iPad they work.
