Q: iTunes Installation Error on Windows 10

I continue to get the following error, and realize that I am not smarter than those who programmed my computer.  HELP!!!

"Errors occurred during installation before iTunes could be configured.  Your systme has not been modified.  To complete the installation, run the installer again.  Click Finish to exit the installer"

So... I did the following (over the last 2 weeks - limited time - this issue is sucking the life out of me when I sit down to my computer

1) I ran the installer again -same problem occurred

2) I restarted my computer, and ran the installer again - same problem occurred

3) I uninstalled all apple software, and attempted to reinstall the iTunes from the apple store, and the same problem occurred.

4) I turned off my Virus Protection and tried to install, and same error message occurred.

5) I updated all of my programs and software, and the same problem occurred when attempting to install.

THEN... when I tried to download the software again, I got the message that another installation was already in progress, and I needed to quite the new installation and retry the old one.

The installation was successful up to Verifying credentials, where the progress bar was stuck at about 75% for more than 24 hours.

HELP PLEASE!!!

Use little words... I'm the dumbest smart person I know, and computers really like to give me a hard time... except this one (of course)... it's the best one I've had.
