May 30, 2016 4:59 PM in response to Kanihonchoby Rudegar,★Helpfultry going into the settings and see if surround is set to be enabled
if one set audio to be surround and no surround setup is connected then what you describe is 100% what happens
99% of dialog is send to the center speaker which on a stereo speaker setup is absent because the 2 stereo speakers are treated as front left and front right where only background audio is played

May 30, 2016 5:05 PM in response to Rudegarby Kanihoncho,I did have to reset the Apple TV 4 so I changed the audio to DD 5.1 instead of "Best Available". I'm still having the drop out. I've attached ATV4 to "Game" input on the receiver and I am getting 5.1 so maybe the media player input on the receiver has gone bad. I will continue to fool around with receiver inputs and other ATV4 shows to see if the same thing is happening. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction . . .

Is ATV connected to the AVR by HDMI?
