Q: How can I make it so when I delete a project, it will delete the videos associated with the project.
Hello,
I have recenty used my 1tb of storage on my Macbook Pro, and I was looking into what the cause of this was. I realized that about 700GB were because of videos on final cut. Knowing this, I backed up all my videos, and decided to delete the oldest ones, but keep the new. I checked my storage, and nothing has changed. I realized, the application wasn't deleting the videos, but rather deleting just how the clips were edited. It still kept the full video. So what I'm asking is, is there anyway that I can make it so when I delete a project, it will delete all the contents (video) associated with that project? Also, is there anyway I could delete the video in the projects that I have alreday deleted?

Hello once again. I just wanted to update you on my what I did. Instead of going through all the footage, and hand picking the ones I wanted to delete, I created a new library, and just put the projects that I wanted to keep in there. It copied only the media used for the projects. Once this completed, I deleted the old library, and therefore it got rid of 665GB of data.
Just wanted to inform you.
