okay, I followed ur instructions but it said updated Boot support needed what do i do i don't want to lose my macbook pro retina. Also it hasn't be damaged yet. but i decided to erase the startup disk. PLZ help me apple!

    Apple doesn’t routinely monitor the discussions. These are mostly user to user discussions. What OS version are you using?

    Where did you see this? While booted into the Recovery Partition? Did you run Disk Utility First Aid? What was the result? After erasing the hard drive, did you attempt to reinstall the OS? More information about exactly what you have done would help.

    OS X yosemite, i did erase my macintosh HD, and then when i tried to repair the disk it said updated boot support needed. I tried to reinstalled it but the OS X cant find the file
