Q: How can I set "resize text" to be off as the default?

I never use the "resize text" option and don't want other people in the office (especially freelancers) to inadvertently use it in our presentations and mess them up. How can I set the programme to default to always off?

iMac 27, i7, 8 GB ram

    I presume you mean Shrink Text To Fit,     located in (Inspector > Format > Text > Layout)

    When using preset text boxes with the Title and body text selected  (Format > Slide Layout)  Shrink Text To Fit is always actioned.

     

    You could use one of these alternatives:

    1 - use a custom text box which has Shrink Text To Fit deselected

    2 - create a custom Master slide and save as a theme File > Save Theme
