I have used sound flower to capture audio recording, however that does not seem to work with el capitan 11.5. Is there any thing better?

I use soundflower on my mac and can record audio in El Capitan with Quicktime Player "New Audio Recording".
Maybe you need to update soundflower, or recreate the the Aggregate devices and Multi-Output devices in Audio MIDI Setup?
I have one multi-output device that outputs to soundflower and the built-in output simultaneously, so I can hear the sound and it is also piped through soundflower; and an aggregate device with soundflower plus built-in input.
