Q: How to Delete the "Other Memory" from the Macintosh HD?
Hi,
So I have been seeing a gradual rise in the size of the "Other Memory" of the Macintosh HD in the system that I am using.
A week back the available space was 50GB. Now it has reduced to 30GB.
I do not use any mobile devices to attach to this system.
This system is purely used for Video Editing.
I only use the Adobe CC set of softwares and nothing else on this system.
All my footage, aftereffects, premier pro files are stored on external hard-drives.
I wanted to know How do I reduce the size of this "Other Memory" from the Macintosh HD?
Please Advice.

Here is Apples definition of OTHER:

Do not get obsessed with the title.
If you wish to do some file cleaning, download from the Internet OmniDiskSweeper and Grand Perspective (both free) and open them. They will show all of your files and the respective sizes. Transfer to an external HDD the files you do not want on your Mac or delete them.
Do not forget to empty trash. Only then is space allocated for additional data.
