Q: How can I delete photos in an album that was shared with me on my iPhone and Mac without unsubscribing to the album?

Where did the Album come from? That would help in diagnosing. Normally on Camera Roll you select the photos, delete them and the album goes away.

If the Album was synced from your computer using iTunes then do a new sync without the album selected.

Are you both using the same Apple ID?

What happens when you try to select the photos on the album and try to delete them?

Where do the photos show up? On an iPhone the photos should be in the Photos App.

I don't know how you are receiving these photos? Perhaps you have iCloud Photo Sharing enabled.

If so, it is all or nothing, if you want to keep receiving the photos there is no way to hand pick the ones you want individually, sorry.

If you're the owner of a shared album, you can delete any photos, videos, or comments from anyone. Subscribers can delete anything that they personally added. Anything you delete is automatically deleted from the album on all your devices and the devices of subscribers.

Any photos you saved from the shared album to another location, such as the Photos tab, won't delete from that location.
