Q: How to detect this issue

Hi,

I know the program has ended, but how can I know if I got this problem??

Today I was unable to login normally to my mac (I used safe boot to log in). I keep getting these messages:

5/30/16 3:22:45.770 PM WindowServer[506]: com.apple.message.domain: com.apple.ioacceleratorfamily.gpu_hang

com.apple.message.responsible: true

com.apple.message.application_identifier: WindowServer

com.apple.message.application_version: Unknown Version

com.apple.message.device_name: Intel Iris Pro

SenderMachUUID: 1A812C4E-CB5C-3591-8C4F-45DF2C71F237

Thanks in advance for any help,

Regards.

You are going to have to take it in. It appears to be GPU fault

Even out of warranty you get a free over the counter  'Apple Service Diagnostics' test and VST (video systems test)

There is said to be a "silent recall" on certain series of Late 2103 Mac Pro models with 500 and 700 series GPUs.

    http://www.macrumors.com/2016/02/06/late-2013-mac-pro-video-issues-repair-progra m/

Regardless of which model you have, the door has been opened for the replacement of graphics card to solve graphics hangs. Make an appointment at the genius bar for a free evaluation.

None of the above have Iris Graphics. You mean the 2013 MacBook pro 13-in?

These should have been fixed with the changes made in the latest update to 10.11.5.

If yours is not fixed, you need to present it at an appointment at the genius bar, as you may have a Hardware problem.

    Hi to all,

Apple reseller return my mac and said everything is ok, all tested was passed successfully.

Currently I'm using the machine but I'm afraid that could happen the same again.

    Any advice?

    Regards.
