Can I link my PayPal account to my apple id?

I tried to link my PayPal to my apple ID but all I could do was link a credit, debit, or prepaid.

How do I Link PayPal.😟

I have not researched it, but I would assume that PayPal is not an option for iTunes/app store/Apple transactions.

PayPal option is currently available only in US and the PayPal account has to be linked to a credit card anyway.
