using camera proxy files?

I am trying to get FCPX to use the proxy files my camera already generated instead of waiting for FCPX to encode them.
I didn't find any useful information on how to do that?!

In Detail:

When recording on my Sony FS-5 i am able to additionally record proxy files in camera.
But FCPX does not recognize them as Proxy.
Instead it imports them as seperate clips and generates proxies of my proxies.
Any help would be very appreciated.
Thanks!

MacBook Pro, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5), FCP X 10.2.2

I don't have any suggestions to make work the camera generated proxies files within FCP X.

The proxy file names will need to reflect the Original camera files.

When FCP X imports files it creates proxies that are connected to the full size imported camera files.

If you try and just use camera produced proxies, FCP X will have no way to figure out what file is related to what.

I just can't see it working without some type of third party intervention.

The other option is just let FCP X do the proxy generating.
