How do I remove Apple Pay from Passbook

Hello. I really enjoy using the passbook app to keep track of concert tickets, boarding passes etc. However, I don't want to use apple pay. How do I disable this? It takes up half the screen and isn't useful if you aren't using it.

Is this another app that can't be deleted that nobody uses, like Health and Stocks?
