icloud on windows 10, photo issues

hi,

i have recently started using windows 10 on a new laptop, the camera roll is full on my iphone so i'm trying to make sure the icloud on my pc is storing all my icloud photos etc.

if i log into icloud i can see all of my photos and videos no problem, i've done all the syncing and downloaded icloud for windows etc etc and windows still only shows a handful of my photos ??? i've even backed up manually to itunes but i cannot see photos there at all.

please help need to sort my phone out quite badly as its completely full, is there also any other way i can copy and paste (or similar) to save my icloud photos on a hard drive also ??

thanks for your help

Hello Charlie,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.

I see that you are wanting to find your pictures in iCloud and back up your pictures to free up space on your iPhone. For the pictures in iCloud, it will depend on what you are using, iCloud Photos or My Photo Stream. Take a look at the following FAQ's on each:

iCloud Photo Library FAQ

My Photo Stream FAQ

Additionally, if you are interested in backing up your photos, you can use iTunes for Windows to sync photos to your computer and back them up from there.

Keep your photos safely stored and up to date on all your devices

Best regards.
