MY APPLE TV NOT DETECTED IN ITUNES

when i connect 3rd generation apple tv the itunes does not detect it may be software problem on apple tv

You shouldn't see it unless you are trying to restore it via USB.

Please explain a little more what you are doing. How are you connecting? Are you trying to use AirPlay or Home Sharing?
