I understand that Apple Music on your iPhone is not operating as you would expect. You describe the app freezing and not showing all of your music.
To troubleshoot this situation, there are a couple of different steps I recommend.
First, check the settings on your iPhone to ensure that you have Apple Music and iCloud Music Library enabled. The following article explains how to check these settings.

If the issue continues, close the Music app completely by following the instructions in the next article.

After you quit Music, restart your iPhone.
