Q: Apple ID stolen?

Hello everyone.

I'm new to this discussion, so please excuse any mistake

I recently went on my Mac (running OS X El Captain 10.11.5) and suddenly Apple sent me a notification like this:"Your Apple ID is now being used for _____ (an Apple official application) on a new iPad. If you recently signed into "________" (my name) you can ignore this notification."

And the only way to turn off the message was to press "OK" so I pressed "OK".

And my account is also used on my iPad, which I had already logged into my account and did not use for FaceTime by the time Apple sent me the message.

Please give me some advice.

And I also don't know where to post this, so I'm sorry for that, too.

P/s: Lately I pressed on a Google Advertisement on my iPad.

____(an Apple official application) is what? "FaceTime and iMassage" or did it specifically say 'FaceTime"

does it specify your device or another you don't recognize, maybe the same name but different model.

did you recently upgrade the software on the iPad or change any settings, and if so did you get a message from anyone in that time.

does someone else have an Apple device with your account in your immediate family.

very likely your account is fine but you may wish to change the password for piece of mind.

Mods: this should probably go to iOS and not OS X if someone can move it.

It said "FaceTime". It is another device that I do not recognize, unfortunately.

If your account has been compromised, log into the AppleId site and change your password. Once done, log out of iCloud services, App Store & iTunes, Messages, & FaceTime on each device and log back in with the new passwords.

You can also verify your devices at this site.

I have changed my password and verified my devices, though.. and I did not see any other iPad.

If there was another device logged into your apple id, they will now have to change the password, which they shouldn't have since you changed it. Maybe it was just a glitch in the system. You will just have to monitor it from here out. The good thing is you will get a notification every time you sign into a device, or someone else does.
