Q: Can't keep iCloud music library switch on

HI there. I have an iPhone 6 and use Apple music. under settings under music, my iCloud music library function when I turn it on will switch itself off, Ive lost 28GB of music 2 days ago, but it's still on my laptop on iTunes But when I try to sync, merge, or replace it switches off on its own. Does anyone know if I simply turned off something or how I can get the switch to remain on. I turn it on and try to sync my iPhone but it says your music library isn't enabled so I can't use it I keep returning it back on but it just switches off again. I've never had this issue and now all my music is gone. Can someone please assist me. Thanks you

    Have you attempted to sign out of your Apple ID on your iPhone under Settings>iTunes & App Store? Sign back in after doing this and toggle this feature back on. If the issue persists, are you not able to access Apple Music as well, or were you subscribed to iTunes Match? Maybe check on your subscriptions, as this is a feature that relies on the subscription to either Apple Music or iTunes Match to function.

    Hi I did sign out of my Apple ID on both my music app, and in settings and my subscription is paid up as of 2 days ago. It's still not working and I still can't access apple music? I'm at a total loss

    With that being the case, I would contact Apple Support on this. The fact that this is happening on 2 separate devices and you have no access to Apple Music while you are current on your subscription says there is some issue on the account they need to resolve.

     

    Contact Apple for support and service - Apple Support

     

    They will, of course, need to verify your identity for ownership of the account before they can look into any errors or troubleshoot the account itself, but that only takes a minute.
