After updating to 9.3.2, my network is stuck in 'searching..'. How do I fix this?

My network is stuck on 'searching...' when I gave in to the new update a few days ago on holiday. I got it to work yesterday when I pressed and held home and lock until it turned off, on then off again, then took out the sim and cleaned it. Then I pressed lock and home again to turn it back on. This worked for a short while. However, when I arrived back in the UK today it is 'searching' again. I have tried what I did before, plus pressing home and lock simultaneously, restoring etc. Nothing has worked. Can someone help?

I Have the same issue too and have tried all recommendations.

I'm with Vodafone in the uk and I have made the following observations.

IF I turn on my phone at home my phone sticks on searching (not no service) and will never again connect even if I drive around the whole of the U.K. ie my phone seems to get an initial message that my sim is blocked but Vodafone say it's not.

IF however I am in say a city centre and turn my phone off and on it will connect and stay connected even when I'm at home. The issues only arises again if my phone dies and I reboot again at home (I live in the countryside so to me it seems my issue is with the type of network I am connecting to).

When it is blocked on searching there is no carrier in my settings.

I Have tried switching between 4g snd 3G in mobile data as I assume I only connect in 4g areas??

sorry for jumping in your post but your problem sounds the same and if it helps rebooting your phone in strong signal areas seems to work for me!
