Q: Export to Powerpoint layout issues
Hi.
First of all, I need to say that I hate PowerPoint presentations. Unfortunately clients love them and sometimes I can't avoid.
I always try to use that workaround of making presentation in Indesign and convert to PPT in Adobe Acrobat. It works and avoids me a lot of trouble. BUT sometimes I need to change a PPT and here's the problem...
I don't have MS Office for Mac and need to do it in Keynote. Works fine, no complains, but some layout elements get a little messy when I export to PPT in the end. I don't use any animation, video ou audio, just texts and images (I try to keep it as simpler as I can) and some text boxes get over images, imagens get unaligned and problems like this.
Is there a way to avoid that? OR maybe in PC PowerPoint it will work fine, the problem is when opening the PPT in Keynote?
Thanks,
Luiz

PowerPoint and Keynote have different tools, use different fonts and effects, therefore a 100% match after converting is often not possible.
You can try Open Office or Libra Office which are freeware applications which will open PowerPoint files without conversion.
