Q: boot camp version
Hello,
Please help with installation of windows 10 - in the very beginning I select "Install Windows 7 or later version" and press continue the boot camp stops with the message "The installer disc could not be found." Windows iso file is on the desktop. OS X El Capital 10.11.5. Boot camp version 6.0.1.
As the OS X is the latest version, boot camp should be the latest as well? Than it is strange that boot camp mentions windows 7 instead of windows 8 and it does not ask to select location of iso file.
May be version of boot camp is not the latest? though there are no any software updates in app store. How can I update boot camp?

What is the year/model of your Mac? Macs prior to 2012 do not officially support W10 as noted in Use Windows 10 on your Mac with Boot Camp - Apple Support .
