itunes/ipod touch podcast listing

hello,

I just synced my new ipod touch (6th gen) with my itunes. All seems ok, except on the podcasts. They are showing up via the app - but only the unplayed podcasts are listed.

Two questions: (please)

1. how do I make it a nice list of the actual podcast (series) in order like it appears in itunes - instead of showing up by how many days old the podcast is.

2. How do I include all podcasts I have saved - including those I have listened to previously.
