Q: 2 Mac's AirDrop don't see 2 iPhone 6 Plus'.

We have two iPhone 6+ phones, both with iOS 9.3.2.

Our April 2013 iMac as well as our late 2011 MBP have recently been updated from Mavericks to el Capitan.

I can find our Late 2011 MBP on AirDrop if I use "Don't see what your looking for?" and click on "Search for an Older Mac".  Only the iMac has the option to select Everyone or Contacts Only .. this isn't available on the MBP for some reason.  The iMac is set to Everyone.  (The only way to get AirDrop to work between those two computers is to have the iMac find the MBP .. If I don't click on the Search for an Older Mac, the AirDrop doesn't find anything.)

Both of the iPhones can see each other using AirDrop (I have them set to Everyone).

That means that all four are signed into iCloud and all four have both their wifi and blue tooth turned on.

However, the iMac doesn't see either iPhone and the iPhones don't see the iMac.

I've tried every different combination of the 4 devices with AirDrop turned on with no change.  What's the problem and is there a fix?

Thanks for your help.
