Q: Two step verification with third party apps not working

I'm trying to use CloudMagic email as well as Spark email for OS X as well as iOS 9.

 

I am generating a new password from my Apple ID account but the passwords are not working. 

 

Any ideas how one could use third party apps with two step verification?

    With Two Step Verification, you are required to use App-specific passwords for apps that do not natively use Two Step Verification. You need an App-specific password to sign in to FaceTime and Messages.

     

    Here is the support article telling you how to generate an App-specific password for you apps. You would type that password instead of your Apple ID password in when you want to sign in to one of those apps:
