ios pages unstable

Pages is hopelessly unstable on my iPad 2. This problem has persisted through several iOS and Pages updates. Any suggestions?

Can you describe the issue in more detailed way?

Try to reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on this device.

  • Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
  • Press and hold on the Home button
  • Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

If this does not help, restore your device to factory settings. Note that this will erase the data from your device.

I have a couple of hundred docs - all synced to iCloud- would I lose all of these or do they resync back to the iPad?


This prob seems to have got worse on my ipad2 with each update of app/iOS - thought it may be linked to number of docs I have.


It can take up to a minute to get semi-decent response to keyboard in the app - also crashes out when try to email certain docs in PDF format or export doc to say iBooks.


This all reminds me of early Microsoft days - sorry for swearing!
