Q: iOS 9 and WPA2 Enterprise disconnecting each day

Hi,

we have Cisco WiFi infrastructure controlled by Cisco WLC2504. We switched from WPA2 PSK to WPA2 Enterprise + 802.1X and our users on iPhone with iOS 9.X started having problems with disconnections.

User with iPhone connects to WPA2 Enterprise, it's working correctly, but they must re-type credentials EACH DAY!!!! on version lower than 9.X it works correctly, i.e. I have iPhone 4 for testing with 7.X software and it's not disconnecting.

Also other vendors like Andoid and Windows 10 Mobile works correctly. Does anybody other have same problem? Apple support just sent us somewhere....

Hi.
Take a look at this Apple Support article:

Reset your network settings.

Settings - General - Reset - Reset Network Settings

Reset your device. This won't delete your data stored on the phone.
Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button
Press and hold on the Home button
Keep holding both buttons until the display turns off and back on with Apple logo on it.

Alternatively, you may go to Settings - General - Reset - Reset All Settings

Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings - not helping... also one collegue did complete wipe of Iphone and also no change. still disconnecting and he must type username/password each day.

we do not have macbooks to create profiles. also WiFi must work without any profile. also all phones are BYOD, so no profiles acceptable. so apple *********.
