Q: Import edited photos from iPhone  to Windows 10

My daughter often edits her photos on her iPhone. However, when she tries to import the photos to her Windows 10 laptop she gets the unedited version. She has tried different ways of importing them, both using Photostream & using a usb, but all methods seem to import the unedited version. Any ideas how she can import the edited version?

Thanks

    Hi Louise,

The easiest way to share edited images from the iPhone to the Windows PC is to enable iCloud Photo Library on the iPhone and download images from www.icloud.com to the PC.   Here is some information about the process:

    iCloud Photo Library

iCloud Photo Library stores every photo and video you take, and keeps them up to date on all your devices. Any edits you make are automatically updated everywhere.

Access all your photos from anywhere.

iCloud Photo Library automatically keeps all your photos in the cloud, so you can access them on your iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Mac, on iCloud.com, or download them to your PC. And when you edit a picture using Photos, your changes are uploaded to iCloud and visible everywhere. Just go to iCloud settings, tap Photos, and enable iCloud Photo Library.

    iCloud Storage Plans

You get 5GB of free storage in iCloud and you have the option to choose a plan for up to 1TB. Upgrade your storage option right from your iPhone.
