Q: Why does Apple list accessories on the HomeKit compatibility page that have zero HomeKit functionality?

Jun 7, 2016 9:05 AMby Gino_Cerullo,I don't remember seeing those products listed on Apple's "Find accessories that work with Apple HomeKit" page and they are not currently listed but the page was update June 2, 2016, one day after you posted this. It may be possible that they will be announced as new addition to the compatible list at WWDC and someone jumped the gun and posted it to the page early and it has since been removed.

Chamberlin was one of the original launch partners shown on the slide presentation. The FLIR camera is still listed, so still very annoyed that they are listing a product with absolutely no siri-related functions.

Jun 7, 2016 12:21 PMby Gino_Cerullo,Just noticed that the Home Automation section of the Apple Online Store seems to be offline. It was working this morning. I have a feeling that there may be major additions to the Store that are HomeKit related.

Also, many app framework sessions are under wraps at WWDC and there are no mention of HomeKit related one. I think there are major changes/additions coming to HomeKit this year.
