Ipad 2 keep turning on to the apple logo screen and then turning off

Hello,

I was on my iPad and it randomly turned off. I thought that it might have run out of battery without me noticing so I connected it to my computer. It not keeps turning on to the main apple logo screen for a few seconds and then shutting off. I have tried pushing the lock button for 10 seconds, nothing. I have tried a hard reset of pushing the lock button and home screen together for more than 10 seconds, nothing. I tried restoring it from my computer but my computer/itunes doesn't even recognize it.

I'm all out of ideas and have no idea what is happening or what to do. help!
