Jun 2, 2016 7:54 PM in response to Magnas35by fpinkney,I have had this same issue for about 6 months. Chatted with Apple Team several times, to no avail. iTunes works as long as my phone isn't plugged in. When I plug in the phone, I get the spinning ball.

Jun 11, 2016 12:36 PM in response to Magnas35by Magnas35,Turns out my Mac Pro was built right in the middle of the recall period - Feb to April 2015 and freezing with iTunes is a known problem. Apple are replacing both the graphics cards.
