IPV6 Address registering in DNS even though IPV6 is switched off

Hello!

I've got a bit of a weird problem with IPV6 addresses.

Our profile manager server has IPV6 switched off on all network locations (networksetup -setv6off) but for some reason the server keeps on registering a IPV6 address in our DNS, once it's registered I can't enrol any new devices until I delete the entry and then reboot the server. Has anyone else had this issue?

I do have other servers and clients register their IPV6 addresses even though it's switched off, but those ones don't seem to effect any thing.

The OS X in question is on 10.11.5

Our DNS is Windows 2003 R2 (our network guys are hoping to change to a unix based one fairly soon though)

Thanks

Paul

Mac mini, OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)
