Q: Magic mouse 2 stopped scrolling and right-clicking

Magic mouse 2 will not respond to right click.  It is treating it as a left click.  Vertical scrolling is only intermittently working.

I have checked the settings, turned secondary click on and off, changed the batteries, restarted the computer. It is not due to any upgrades or changes to the system; the mouse was working fine yesterday morning, and was not working yesterday afternoon.  Blue tooth connection is good (as left click is working well). I tried activating some of the other magic mouse features, smart zoom with one-finger double tap did not work.

Right-click is working fine on a borrowed lenovo mouse, but I it's borrowed, and I would love to get my wireless apple mouse back to full functionality.  Any help is appreciated.

Are you using Yosemite or El Capitan.   Because Magic mouse 2 is intended for El capitan 10.11 and higher, it may not function properly elsewhere.

El Capitan, 10.11.6 with brand new Magic Mouse 2. Half of functions do not work. My primary thing I want back is the ability to right click.

Checked setting in System Prefs for Mouse, unchecked, restarted, checked, restarted. Repair permissions. Deleted com.apple.Bluetooth.plist and com.apple.systempreferences.plist, com

    Scroll direction works.

Secondary click: left or right does not work.

    Smart Zoom does not work.

    Swipe between pages works.

Swipe between full-screen apps does not work.

    Mission Control does not work.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Thanks,
