No worries with your grammar, it was spot on. I understand some images are becoming distorted when they are added to iMovie on your Mac. Let's see if we can get to the bottom of this.
I do know that when creating a movie with iMovie, that the first clip sets the resolution for your entire movie. It could be that the resolutions are different and that it needs to be adjusted. Take a look at the first link below for more details about creating a movie within iMovie.
Create a new movie

Now you may need to modify the picture so that it won't be stretched when they are added to your movie. Take a look at the next link for more details on how to modify the picture.
