Q: Apple Watch - Goal Notifications

Hello.  I am having a problem with my goal notifications on my watch.  There are some days that I get the move/exercise/stand notifications when I achieve them. There are other days that I achieve them, and I don't get any notification at all (not even the red dot at the top of the watch).  There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason as to what causes the notifications to show up or not show up.

My watch was working fine on 2.1.  However, when I went to the 2.2.1, the notifications seemed to stop.  I have rebooted the watch, set up the watch as a new watch, and have made sure all of the correct notifications are on.

Has this happened to anyone else?  Any help would be appreciated.

Thank you.

    Hi

    Goal Completion alerts may not have been delivered due to Activity alerts having been muted earlier in the day.

    Tapping on "Mute for Today" within an Activity app alert (for example: a Stand reminder) turns off all Activity app alerts for the remainder of that day, including notifications of Goal Completions and Achievements.

    Thank you for that reminder.  I have not muted any notifications.  I forgot to put that in my first post.

    You're welcome!

    If you have not yet done so, it may help to try these steps:

    - Close all apps on your iPhone (double-press the Home button, then swipe up on each app);

    - Restart both devices (turning both off together, then restarting your iPhone first).

    If the issue persists, then - given the other steps that you have already tried - I suggest that you contact Apple Support (or make a Genius Bar reservation) for assistance:
