Question

Put in to low of a birth date for apple id

I was setting up an apple id for my child and used my email and there birth date which was below 13. Now that email is locked out. What can I do?

You could log into that account and change its primary email address so that you can try using it on a new account for the child : Change your Apple ID - Apple Support

Or you could try contacting iTunes Support and see if they could change the date of birth on the account : https://www.apple.com/emea/support/itunes/contact.html

I tried using a different email address but I think my previous attempt was remembered on the computer and even though I then entered the correct birth date it still responded with the error of too low an age. I switched to a different computer and then was able to set up an account with the second email account
