Q: Hulu Issues after Safari 9.1.1. update

Since the Safari Update to 9.1.1. - Installed May 25th... I have had dreadful problems with Hulu's entire site.  On virtually EVERY page, Safari will crash out with the "A problem occurred with this webpage so it was reloaded." - pages will cycle maybe three times and may wipe out with the message "A problem repeatedly occurred with 'www.hulu.com' " It will also generate a crash report "Safari Web Content quit unexpectedly."

Don't bother sending me to Hulu, been there, this one is on Safari. No problems with Chrome (their recommended browser) or Firefox (despite their notorious memory leaking they never fix...). The problem turned up right after upgrading to 9.1.1.

I have attempted –

"Remove All Website Data." in Safari to clear caches.

I have deleted all stored data in System Preferences > Flash Player.
I have updated Flash Player.
I have updated Java.

No change in results.

Note: I am seeing this behavior more often in iOS Safari as well, but I don't know what that may mean.

    Hi,

" I have had dreadful problems with Hulu's entire site.

You may have a Safari extension or third party plug-in installed that's causing a conflict with Hulu. It’s easy to troubleshoot.

From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Uninstall one extension at a time, quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If it's not an extensions issue, try troubleshooting third party plug-ins.

Back to Safari > Preferences. This time select the Security tab. Deselect:  Allow plug-ins. Quit and relaunch Safari to test.

If that made a difference, instructions for troubleshooting plugins here.

Apparently the extension "Better Source" is no longer playing nice with version 9.1.1.
