I can no longer send emails from my I-phone 5s. No matter who I try to email it will not send. Error message comes back: "A copy has been placed in your outbox. The recipient (email address) was rejected by the server (I do not use a server) because it does not allow relaying."

Any ideas how I can fix this?

    Hello RJB1622,

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities.

From what you're describing it sounds like an issue with successfully sending an email from your iPhone.

Is this only happening when sending an email to this specific email contact from your email account on this phone? Have you tried from a computer or even the webmail portal of your email on your iPhone?

Check your email settings in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars on your iPhone, or even remove and re-add your email account on your iPhone using the steps from this article: Get help with Mail on your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch

    Cheers!

Check the outgoing mail server setting. Make sure that your username and password are in there.

Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendars>Your email account>Account>Outgoing mail server - tap the server name next to SMTP and check in the primary server and make sure your username and password are entered and correct - even if it says that the password is optional.
