Q: front facing camera moved on the iPhone 6
Hi! Thank you for checking this out. I am aware that there is similar questions with a solution here, but I am here for a slightly different reason.
Now I can´t find the email to talk to an apple official which is what I need. I need one to confirm that the moving of the front facing camera is a known problem due to bad/low quality glue, and happens without needing the phone to in a drop or any form for damage. This happened me, I have never dropped my iPhone, but through daily use (ordinary, no extreme moving or anything) the camera has moved so much that the grey "half moon" covers half of the hole for the camera. So I naturally talked to the place where I bought it, it was sent to repair (ish, they never repair, they just send you a new one) where it was discovered that the iPhone was slightly bent. I was shocked, I have never done anything that could result in such damage, but realized that somehow it must have been me. As a result, all warranty has been removed, so they won´t fix the camera because the phone is bent. I explained that the camera issue is quite well known, and has not happened as a result of the bending. They did not believe me, and therefore I need one from Apple to write me an email saying that the issue is known and does not come as a result of the bending. This is the only way that I can get the warranty back for the cameras sake. The email will be shown to the store guy who deals with this. I have earlier read that (some of) the iPhones suffers from bad glue and a half moon appears, but cannot find that source again. Thank you for all help!
Sincerely
Oscar
