Q: Pages not syncing across devices

This is incredibly frustrating and ruins the entire benefit of using Pages. sometimes i work from the web browser versions (when i'm on Chrome on my laptop) and sometimes i use it on my iPad Pro in the app. It's NOT syncing. Right now, for the particular document I'm currently working on (both are "closed" at the moment) on ipad it says Today 8:46AM. Same file in the browser says Yesterday 10:39pm. And to boot, i lost some work i had done yesterday as well.

I have refreshed the browser, i have opened and closed the app. No change. No syncing.

This is seriously amateur hour. I will need to switch to Google Docs if they can't fix this soon. I can't be losing work across devices. Anyone have a solution to this issue?

You need to revisit that iCloud Drive (and Pages within iCloud Drive is checked), on both MacOS, and iOS, and that Pages on iOS itself is enabled for iCloud. You may need to reboot your Mac, and iOS devices.

I have Pages v5.6.2 on OS X 10.11.5, and occasionally use Pages for iCloud, but removed Pages for iOS as I only had it on an iPhone and was not using it. Depending on network propagation delays, a Pages document updated on the Mac, may take a few seconds to nearly a minute to update on iOS via iCloud.

The technology works, but there are many settings to recheck that ensure that it does.

Thank you for the advice. How do I find the Settings on MacOS? They all show as logged in under iCloud settings.
