Q: my 6  is completely dead - cant even try Recovery- plugged in to laptop but nothing

my iPhone 6plus is completely dead. Apple store told me to connect to computer and try Recovery - but phone still frozen - only thing that comes on the screen is the picture of a musical note with iTunes underneath it with pic of charger to plug in       help?

    Hi,

     

    iTunes and charger icon means you need to put the iPhone in Recovery Mode.

     

    Make sure the computer has the latest version of iTunes installed.

     

    Mac

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. From the menu bar at the top of your computer screen, choose iTunes > Check for Updates.
    3. Follow the prompts to install the latest version.

    Windows

    1. Open iTunes.
    2. From the menu bar at the top of the iTunes window, choose Help > Check for Updates. Learn what to do if you can’t see the menu bar.
    3. Follow the prompts to install the latest version.
