You can visit and go to the store they have at the headquarters where they sell Apple branded items but you won't be able to go any further, they don't give tours or let you go past a certain point. You don't need a reservation but you do need to go during business hours.

Yes. Right into the HQ Gift Shop. They don't have tours, but you can arrange for some escorted visits such as those done by many magazines or eZines. Caroline Samit goes there sometimes to get gifts. She bought me a T-Shirt there.
