Always Synching Artwork?

iPod Touch 6th Gen - iOS 9.3.2 - New (or...less than 30 days old)

Mac Pro 4.1 (Nehalem chipset) - OS 10.10.5

I have noticed that, each time I synch with the iPod Touch, it always finishes by synching artwork. Even when I have made no changes in the music on the iPod...it still re-synchs some 1000+ artwork files.

Is this normal? (I've never really aid that close attention in the past, but do not recall seeing it doing so each time)

First try:

http://www.mcelhearn.com/deleting-the-itunes-album-artwork-cache-folder-may-reso lve-problems-with-album-art-displaying/

If not successful:

- Unsync/delete all music and resync

To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Manage Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music

- Reset all settings

Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

- Restore from backup. See:

Restore your device from an iCloud or iTunes backup - Apple Support

- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
