Q: Invisible movies and can't delete.

While copying movies to my external HDD, my laptop went flat.

When this happened, there were invisible movies with Zero bytes, on my HDD.

I am unable to delete them as the second lot I copied over are all same movies but with all of them as a copy and changed to the 2nd version.

There is an error code -50. When I found this information, I tried all that the information suggested, without any luck.

Are you able to assist me please?

Cheers

Kaye

Use Disk Utility to erase and test the drive:

make sure you have a copy of the files that were copied to the drive

Applications > Utilities > Disk Utility

select the drive on the left column click on Erase tab then click erase button. be very careful to select the correct drive as all data will be lost

click the First Ad tab then click Repair Disk button
