How to change MacBook's name?

A user's full name can be changed by that user or an administrator. The full name doesn't need to be the same as the account name or home folder name.

1. Choose apple logo >system preferences > users and groups

2. Open pad lock by entering username and password .

3.From list of users , right click the user that you want to rename it .choose advanced options from short cut menu 4. Change the name in the full name field then click ok .

Get MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) - Essentials.

Open System Preferences in the Applications folder. Click on the Sharing preference item. Change the Computer Name at the top.

Double click on the HDD name on the desktop. Enter your desired name, press ENTER.
