Hi,
I have a bluetooth headset with microphone conected to my Macbook. See 1st picture below
But I can not selected it in Imovie to recode a voiceover. see 2nd picture below
Do someone have solution or the same problem?

Do you not have a 'System Setting' option?:
My Mac does not have a built in microphone but my selected webcam mike input works OK.
Inability to use bluetooth microphone has been reported for iPad and phone versions of iMovie. Looks like it may also apply to iMovie for OS X.
A workaround could be to record the voiceover separately with another application then transfer the file to iMovie. You could watch iMovie while you record so as to get the timing correct.

Hi GeeD,
I don't have the "setting" and the reason is that it Bluetooth is not supported by Imovie.
But it is supported by Quicktime.
So I could record with Quicktime and synchronise the sound after. But is is far from idea as the change of app is not friendly.
I found that connecting the headset with USB fix the issue and Imovie finf the headset.
But Apple shoul fix this
