Q: Macbook HOT in a case

Hey guys,

I got home from work today to find my Macbook Pro 2016 Slim form factor turned on, closed in its case (Booq hard case). I've just bought it too. Still scratching my head as to why it was on (potentially from a wireless keyboard or trackpad or perhaps my Time Capsule?) but it was super, super hot when I found it.

I opened up the Macbook and found that it had turned itself off (I had to turn it on again) - which I've learned is a chipset feature to protect it.

It seems fine now - but should I be concerned that it may have been damaged to to heat?

And are there any health checks I can make?

Cheers!

MacBook Pro, Mac OS X (10.7.2)
