Q: Send a copy

When I have any of the iWork documents open - I click on "Share" and "Send a copy" - nothing happens, all menu items become greyed out.

I am on a MBA - 13 inch Mid 2013 MacBookAir6,2. El Capitan 10.11.5

Keynote 6.6.2

This has been happening for more than a year. Any suggestions?

I mainly need this so that I can export it as a powerpoint file or word file without having to export it to desktop and then attach to mail

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2013), OS X El Capitan (10.11.5)

A  Powerpoint file must be created and saved to the Mac before it can be emailed or used in any other way,   (File > Export > PowerPoint)

The share menu can not create a Powerpoint file.

Clicking on Mail opens this window - through which I used to directly sent PPTs or even PDFs of my Keynote without exporting... Now this feature doesn't work - In fact nothing works - Messages/Air Drop....
