HELP! Feed not redirecting

I am ready to scream. I did a 301 redirect in my cpanel yesterday to forward my podcast from boldnewbiz.com/feed/podcast to sparkandprofit.com/feed/podcast for whatever reason the redirect didn't show up in Google or Firefox. I eventually called my hosting company and they attempted to put a code in my HT access file then was able to get a redirect in Firefox only. however when I posted a new podcast today the podcast did not upload to iTunes. turns out my redirect isnt working Ive even looked in additional places that I normally can see my podcasts outside of iTunes and my feed is gone. I don't know what else to do my hosting provider can't help me and I have no way to fix the feed so that it shows up in iTunes. Can anyone help me and tell me what I need to do to have a successful redirect ?

If you subscribe manually in iTunes to http://boldnewbiz.com/feed/podcast it redirects correctly to the other feed, and episode 32 appears. The Store probably hasn't got round to checking the feed yet, and if you attempt to subscribe from the Store page iTunes can't find the feed - I don't know why this is, as I would have expected it to (it doesn't redirect in Terminal either, as it should, simply notes the 301). You would have done better to put the 'itunes:new-feed-URL' tag in the original feed - this would have caused a permanent redirect for both the Store and subscribers. If you can restore the original feed and place the tag in it that would be the best solution: the method is described here - http://wilmut.uk/move .

If you can't do this you should go to https://podcastsconnect.apple.com (sign in if necessary) and click on your podcast. This will bring up an info page with a field containing the current URL of your podcast. Replace this with the new URL and click 'Save'. Then click 'Update' and the page will check that your feed is valid. If there are any errors you should correct them, then click 'Save' and 'Update' again. This will change the Store to using the new feed, but again it will take 1-2 days to do so. Note that doing this does not itself change anything for your subscribers (since their iTunes applications read the feed directly) though your 301 redirect should handle that.
